Hide & Seek: Lost Books Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Hide & Seek: Lost Books app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Ten October LLC (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as an Ad Supported service. This service is intended for use “AS IS”.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

The Application does not require registration and does not ask you to provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

The Application stores game progress, settings, and purchase status locally on your device using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to the Service Provider or any third party.

The Application collects anonymous usage analytics (such as session starts, level completions, and feature usage) that are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to external servers.

Third-Party Services and Advertising

The Application displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain information automatically, including your device identifier, IP address, device type, operating system, and information about your interaction with advertisements. This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:

• On iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
• On Android: Settings > Google > Ads

Subscribers to the ad-free plan will not be shown advertisements, and the AdMob SDK will not collect data while the subscription is active.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The Application offers an optional auto-renewable monthly subscription to remove advertisements. All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The Service Provider does not collect, process, or store any payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.

Subscription details:

• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• The subscription automatically renews each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s account settings (App Store or Google Play)

The Application also offers in-app powerup items that can be purchased using in-game currency earned through gameplay. No real-money transaction is involved for powerup items.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Children

The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider (support@tenoctober.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Since the Application only stores data locally on your device, the risk of unauthorized access is limited to physical access to your device.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to their Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-01-01.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.
